In 1994 a plot was hatched in a pub in Richmond, Victoria, to create the best ABBA tribute band in Australia, now 25 years on, BABBA are still wowing crowds across the length and breadth of the country with their sparkling re-creation of the 70’s super group and that plot has definitely come to fruition. Your days are sorted with three spectacular golf courses all within an hour’s drive of each other, you’re spoilt for choice if you love a hit. There’s also easy to ride flat terrain, cycling is a great option for people of all ages. A rail trail connects Rutherglen to Corowa via Wahgunyah past paddocks, vineyards, groves and old wineries. Riding trails along the Murray River and through townships are a fun way to take in the beautiful scenery and discover all this region has to offer. Bike hire (adults and childrens bikes) are available from the Corowa Visitor Information Centre.

Dinner and Show events are back at the Buninyong Golf Club and BABBA are kicking of their series of shows, opening on Saturday February 9th. Praised by Molly Meldrum, saying they are “As good as ABBA!”, this is a must see show for any ABBA fan out there. You’ll love the costumes and the Swedish accents as your transported right back to the 70’s where this Supergroup exploded on to the scene with songs like ‘Mama Mia’, ‘Fernando’, ‘Waterloo’ and ‘Dancing Queen’. So bring a friend or two and come and enjoy the music of ABBA LIVE with BABBA!

For one night only tables will line iconic Main Street, Maldon, declared Australia’s first Notable Town by the National Trust in 1965, transforming the streetscape and creating an utterly unique visual spectacle. The Maldon Twilight Dinner started as a way to showcase Maldon’s cafes and producers and was originally called Tastes of Gold.
