Olivia Newton-John and Karen Carpenter were great friends, but never got the chance to sing together. Susie King and Jacqui Hamilton (BABBA) bring that “what if” to life giving audiences the duet moments we all wish had happened in their new show “SING”. Join Susie & Jacqui and their 6 piece band as they deliver Olivia & Karen favourites with soaring harmonies, plenty of heart, and their signature onstage chemistry.

Jacqui and Susie have been a dynamic duo, headlining the iconic Melbourne Abba tribute band Babba since the early 2000s til present day.

Over these two decades they have brewed their special chemistry of fun and honed their love of singing together in perfect harmony to a level that is a joy to behold. Their particular style of repartee is one that can only be born from many years spent travelling and performing together. As they say “We have now come to share one brain” They arrive at a venue near you to share their favourite Olivia Newton John and Karen Carpenter songs. 2025 saw the beginning of their brand new show “SING” that has sold out to every venue they’ve played. This show is a special treat for these two powerful pop girls and if you cry with laughter or with raw emotion for the beauty of the vocals they bring to the stage, don’t be surprised.

Susie King and Jacqui Hamilton present the songs and stories of Olivia Newton John and Karen Carpenter. This show is a cavalcade of the hits of these two wonderful performers. Susie and Jacqui will talk about their connection with Olivia and Karen both musically and personally. They will also invite the audience to join in and make this a very special, unique event for the long weekend.

For 30 fabulous years BABBA have been transporting audiences back to the glory days of ABBA. With stunning costumes, captivating choreography, and pitch-perfect renditions of the band’s greatest hits.

These talented and passionate performers began right here in Melbourne back in 1994, bringing the infectious energy of ABBA to life on stage Australia wide and overseas. From “Dancing Queen” to “Mamma Mia,” the show has been a non-stop party with audiences singing and dancing along from start to finish. The end of 2024 sees the band closing this chapter with minds full of memories and heart’s full of gratitude. It’s been an extraordinary journey.

Celebrating Our 30th Anniversary in 2024

We are so excited to announce our 30th Birthday Celebrations Shows across the first half of 2024 with those wonderful Venues that have supported us over the years. It’s been a wild ride during the last 30 years taking us across Australia, New Zealand and into Asia.

The highlight for us personally was in Hong Kong at the Hong Kong Jockey Club in November 2019. We had the privilege to perform for original “ABBA” member “Benny Andersson” and were absolutely delighted when he took the stage at the end of the set. In doing so he graciously shook hands, hugged and chatted with each member individually then stayed to have photos taken with us. Benny reminisced with us about his time in Melbourne and Australia in 1977 and was amazed when he found out at that stage we had been doing this for 26 years. With wide eyes here replied “Wow! That’s twice as long as we did it for!” It was very emotional to meet Benny in person and receive such an accolade and endorsement from an original ABBA Member.

We are looking forward to making more fab memories in 2024 and can’t wait to see your smiling faces at next years celebratory shows. Thank you so much for joining us on this amazing journey, as we lovingly share the songs of one of the most beloved groups of all time “ABBA”.
